Predict polymer properties from PSMILES

Run an example repeat unit and read the returned properties and units.

Open the CEMP tool

Enter a repeat unit

Use [*]CCO[*] for a polyethylene oxide repeat unit. Enter the structure in the polymer prediction tool. For the authenticated API use the psmiles field with POST /polymer/api/polymer_predict_psmiles/.

Read the response

The API returns psmiles, processed_smiles and predictions. Each property has value and unit fields. Tg is given in K and Youngs_Modulus in MPa; dielectric constant is dimensionless.

Reproduce the public example

The released model archive returned Tg = 285.40 K and Tm = 387.83 K for this input in a local CEMP API check. These are model predictions, not measured properties.

Compare on matched terms

Keep the model version with the result. Match property definitions and sample conditions before comparison with an experiment.
